The SE error indicates a short was detected at the key pad. This could be a problem with the wiring (dirt at a connection) or a bad circuit board. If your microwave is under warranty, contact Samsung.

Since microwaves have high voltage, you may not want to try to fix this yourself. If you do, make sure to be careful. Some have fixed the error after unplugging the microwave. Then disassemble the microwave keypad area. Disconnect the various wires and clean all of the contacts. (Do one wire harness at a time so that you replace them in the right place.) Reassemble and plug in the microwave. Test if the SE error returns. If the error remains, then the control board needs to be replaced. SE is an error code for a shorted keypad, although the keypad might not really be shorted.

Unplug the oven for a few minutes to see if it clears the error code. If not, then leave it unplugged over night. If the problem persists, then you probably do have a shorted membrane switch on the keypad.

i think your getting to much moisture in your microwave the exhaust fan is to small and can't handle it. once everything dries out you are able to rest it check with samsung.

SE means system error, the keypad has a short in the membrane, or the control board has issues.
