If this not helps, it could be the simlock is on. For that you need the provider and the contract, or a phone shop who does this for a fee.
If you have forgotten the pattern it will ask you for your gmail login. If not then you need to do a hard reset which will bring your phone to factory reset and you will loose all your data on phone (contacts, messages, apps etc).
