The printer print only rubbish and the paper printed always is taken back into the printer before it will come out again. A Download of a new Treiber from Kyocery didn´t work..

I stumbled upon your post having the same problem with a Kyrocera FS 1370d. Did you run the PDL Setup that is included in the installer from the Kyorocera Website. It installs the Kyocera Page Description Language that is reacquired for your Mac to communicate with the printer. It solved my problem!

The print driver ... look for the latest print driver. Also you may want to ask a technician to do a firmware update of your printer.

How do I install driver for Kyocera CS 5035 on MAC

Kyocera and Copystar models are the same just replace KM with CS.

The following instructions should help you. TO download the current driver use this link to th emanufacture website; http://usa.kyoceramita.com/americas/jsp/Kyocera/resource_details.jsp?rid=18657.

Kyocera Printer Drivers and Mac OS® X 10.5 Leopard FAQ:
Is the installation for Mac OS X 10.5 the same as for Mac OS X 10.4 and earlier? Mac OS X 10.5 introduced a new printing architecture that requires changes to the installer and installation process. For this reason, Mac OS X 10.5 requires a new printer driver installer.

I cannot see my Kyocera AppleTalk® printer. How can I make it visible to OS X 10.5? AppleTalk is disabled by default in Mac OS X 10.5. Enable AppleTalk to discover your Kyocera printer. If you use the Kyocera installer, a message will appear, asking you to enable AppleTalk. Click Yes to continue the installation.

I cannot find Printer Setup Utility on Mac OS X 10.5. Is it still supported? Apple has removed Printer Setup Utility from Mac OS X 10.5. To install a printer, open System Preferences and click Print & Fax.

When I manually install a printer, multiple PPD files are listed for the same Kyocera model. Which should I choose? When manually installing a printer or changing a PPD for a installed printer, both Linux and Mac OS X PPDs are listed for some older Kyocera models due to a change in PPD handling in Mac OS X 10.5. Linux PPDs can be identified by the word Gutenprint in the PPD filenames.

Supported Multifunction Printers: KM-1650, KM-1815, KM-1820, KM-2050 ,KM-2530 ,KM-2550, KM-3035, KM-3050, KM-3530, KM-4030, KM-4035, KM-4050, KM-4530, KM-5035, KM-5050, KM-5530, KM-6030, KM-6330, KM-7530, KM-8030, KM-C830, KM-C830D, KM-C850, KM-C850D, KM-C2520, KMC2525E, KM-C2630, KM-C3225, KM-C3225E, KM-C3232, KM-C3232E, KM-C4008, KM-C4035E, CS-1650, CS-1815, CS-1820, CS-2050,CS-C2525E, CS-2550, CS-6030, or newer. Kyocera printing very slow

Has it always been slow, or is that a recent development? At its fastest, the FS-2000 only prints 31 pages per minute, and that's for regular single-sided 8.5" x 11" with no special requirements. Anything else will (thick paper, longer paper, duplexing, etc.) will slow the print speed down.

One thing you can try to speed up the print speed is to change your spool options in the print driver. Go into the print driver (Control Panel > Printers & Faxes, right click on the FS-2000 and select Properties) and find where the spool options are located. Try selecting different spool options (such as waiting to send the job until all the pages have spooled, or sending it page by page) to see if any of them affect printing speed.

There are other options in the print driver's properties which could affect printing speed as well. Look around the different tabs and try changing some of the options to see if they make any difference.

You can also go to Kyocera.com and download and install the newest version of the print driver, which might speed up processing as well.

Hope that helps!

Black dots printing on left side of paper

dots are usually always caused by the drum..drums are very easy to replace..(you don't even need a screwdriver)
here's how..
remove the unit that the toner sits into..it's called a process unit..comes out as a whole with the toners...
next open left cover..
remove waste toner bottle. (drum sits right above it!!!
next remove drum by pushing on grey button and pulling drum
out the left side of the printer.

as far as the jam message you might need to replace tray feed tires located up under the machine

Kyocera 3820n doesn't work right on my macbook OS X 10.5

if you have a mac os x operating system... you already have drivers built into your mac printer menu... try installing the generic print driver and see if that helps... sometimes it works better than the manufacturer's driver...
