The easiest check is unhook the remote turn on wire from the amp and use a small jump wire to bridge the 12dvc input of the amp and the remote turn on connector of the amp. If the amp powers on there is an issue with the remote turn on connection either a bad wire or bad output. If the amp doesn't turn on there is an issue in the amp wiring or the amp itself.

If you have power and, the RCAs are properly connected from the stereo to the amp and you still have no sound; the next step is to check that the speaker wires are connected. If the twelves are in a box also ckeck inside the box to see if the speakers wires are connected.

If you are hooking 'blue wire' (remote turn on for amp) to the power antenna wire (usually also blue) from the radio that could be your problem since the antenna only gets power when the radio is used

try using the switched 12 volt wire you used to connect your stereo power

i will assume all other wiring is correct and if so this should fix your issue - if not write me back with as many details as you can about how you have things wired and i will try to help more

good luck!!

Have mex bt2600 sony xplode car cd player ::: also have sony xplode amp model no.xm 754sx problem is i want to hook up a subwoofer and the amp to the head unit (also currently have 2 sony xplode 3ways...

If the Sony front end unit (stereo) has RCA jacks (Left and Right) in the back it's an input to the Xplode amp. If that's right then the Subwoofer putputs should plug or wire into the Xplode amp. I haven't hooked these up for some time but try a search on Youtube with the units you describe I'm more than 90% sure that there are videos there.
