Only upper left cooking zone working on my AEG electric hob. So as the upper right extraheater, but not the main upper right cooking zone. Lower zones are completely dead. Resistivity of all heaters is optimal, theres no short circuit. Touch control works fine, If i set heating of lower zones, rellay sticks but theres no voltage on heater element and after minute control board says cooking zone is H(ot) but in the fact its dead all the time. Theres also wasnt visual damage inside decomponed control unit. And no, i cant change the control unit. Its expensive as hell

SOURCE: Aeg hob

It is child lock.

Turn cooker on, press two + at front of oven, this will then take it off for that cooking session.

To turn child lock off switch on hob, and touch - for 5 seconds.

SOURCE: have a baumatic ceramic hob displayin letter 'L'

Got the same problem, and remembered I've kept the manual book
L means locked. I dont know how Ive managed to do this as well

Anyway it says:

Cancelling the key lock
After switching ON the control the child safety feature can be deactivated. Here it is necessary to simultaneously operate the front right cooking-zone-select-key and the MINUS-key and then operate the MINUS-key alone. If all steps hae been carried out in the right order within 10seconds the key lock gets cancelled and the control is OFF. Otherwise the input will be considered incomplete, the control remains locked and switches-OFF after 20 seconds.

After a renewed switching-ON/OFF key all displays show 0", the display dots are blinking and the control is ready for ooking. If a cooking zone is "hot", "H" will be displayed instead of the static 0".

Followed their instructions & still not worked. ,I am still confused and baffled after these instructions........................

UNLOCK THE LOCK OF CHILDREN IN CERAMIC

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
I can not insert the symbols here to properly answer your question so, I found the manual and you can read the steps on page 9 here:

http://awadnahas.net/pdf/UserManual/bf7e9e9b-cc9e-46fc-94a7-5965a2d61b18.pdf

This is copy and paste from the manual and the symbols will not come out:

Switching off the child safety device

• Start the hob with ( ' ). Do not set the heat settings . Touch for (Up arrow) 4 seconds. The

symbol ( 0 ) comes on.
• Stop the hob with ( I )

The symbols I typed above are not 100% as they appear in the manual.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly
