No agitation or spin? try these:

WATER PRESSURE SWITCH: This switch keeps your washer from overflowing. It is responsible for shutting off the power to the fill valve and redirects the power to the timer to start the washing machine running once the correct water level has been reached. Meter check ur water pressure switch?
You can test it with a meter and with a manual test? ( first locate it in the panel, it has a plastic clear tube hose going into it, remove that tube from its connection, now put another small tube or hose into the slot where it was and have the machine set to wash cycle with water in it. Blow into the other end of the tube.
If the machine starts to wash. the pressure switch is more than likely good
( No wash starts - then THE DIAPHRAGM IS BAD AND SWITCH HAS TO BE REPLACED) another test u can do is Remove the hose and submerge in water. Seal one end and blow air into the other end and look for bubbles. Check for an obstruction in the hose as well.
Or take the original hose tube and plug one end and blow into it AT the other end, it should be hard and have pressure, if it is easy to blow and u dont feel any pressure and it feels like the air is going out ?
Sometimes they get busted open or a pin hole and release air causing the water switch diaphragm to not open.

Motor Coupling If the washer won't spin or agitate the motor coupling might have failed. The motor coupling connects the motor to the washer transmission. It is designed to fail if the washer is overloaded in order to protect both the motor and
Drive Belt If the washer won't spin or agitate, check the drive belt. If the belt is broken or if it isn't tight on the pulleys the washer won't spin or agitate properly.

Drive Motor If the washer won't spin or agitate the drive motor might be defective. This is not common. Check all of the other related parts to this symptom before replacing the motor. If the motor is visibly burned out or physically damaged, replace it.

Stator Assembly If the washer won't spin or agitate the stator assembly might be burned out. The stator is essentially one half of a motor, it interacts with the tub by creating a strong electro-magnet. If the stator burns out the washer won't spin or agitate. Check the stator for continuity. This part is often misdiagnosed.

Transmission or clutch assembly not engaging due to going out or slipping.

Door or Lid Latch Assembly If the washer won't spin or agitate the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly If the washer won't spin or agitate the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Motor Control Board If the washer won't spin or agitate the motor control board might be defective. The motor control board provides power to the motor as well as direction and force. If the motor control board is defective the washer may not work at all or function properly.

CHECK THE CAM DOGS INSIDE THE AGITATOR, AS THEY WILL HINDER THE AGITATION PROCESS. However in G.E models the cam dogs are replaced with what is called an agitator coupler. (located at bottom of tub)
Remember to check the agitator spline as well for worn broken teeth.

SOURCE: LG FRONT LOAD WASHER WONT TURN ON

Hard call, double check the outlet to make sure it is good, take off the top lid. 2 screws at the back then push it back.
Check to see if you have voltage once the line has gone through the noise filter. If no power there, you have a bad filter. If you have filter, see if you can see a red led light on the main board. no then it is a bad board. If there is a light then then check to make sure it is not a loose connection.. Make sure all your connections are good to the front display.
After all that, if it still isn't working then it goes back to the main board.
tricky one there.

SOURCE: Tub filling with water after cycle is finshed

If your washer fills with water, usually slowly, after the cycle is over you have a inlet water valve which is not shutting off completely. LG usually uses a separate valve for the hot and cold. If you turn off the valve where the hose comes from the house and observe for continued water fill, first one, the reopen it, then shut off the other you should be able to see which (hot or cold) is the culprit. If you post your exact model number I should be able to list the part numbers for you. The inlet valves I am speaking of are the part where the hoses connect onto your machine.

SOURCE: LG front load washer WM2277HW. ''LE'' Error code

First try unplugging the machine for a few minutes and then retry a cycle. If you still get the LE error:

The Hall sensor (part number 6501KW2001A) has failed. The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty (in the US). Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Snap new sensor on and reassemble. Usually takes under a half hour. On a difficulty scale of 1 - 10, it might rate a 4. This should be a Fix-Ya for your machine, and at basically no cost!
In the US, find a service provider using your zip code at http://us.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp or call LG at 800-243-0000

SOURCE: my lg front load washer will go through the cycle

The problem with this one is I'm not there but, without having the tech sheet for this model I would assume DE means "door error" or a drain problem. I believe this model has a clean out drain in it. Remove the bottom panel or there maybe a panel that just pops off. It won't spin if it can't drain. Unscrew the drain (have some towels or a bucket ready)(UNPLUG MACHINE)...If it's clogged then that's the problem. If it's the door it could be the lock assembly or the control board itself. This is why it makes it hard to do without being there. There are three boards in this unit...Hope I've helped a little.

Spinning cycle

Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.

Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?

Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

Lg front load washing machine does not seem to get the clothes clean. I think it is because it uses so little water??? How can it get clothes clean with just a few cupfulls of water? All controls and...

I have run into this problem several times with LG washers. On one job LG had us replace every electronic componet that had anything to do with the water fill and the problem still was not resolved. The electronic control determines how much water to fill depending on the load size, so smaller loads give you less water, with the same amount of soap. Leaving clothes in the washer overnight, and leaving the door closed does contribute to mold and fungi growth in the washer. The customer tried different brands of soaps and different amounts of soap. He left the door open after usage to allow the unit to dry out, and tried different cleaners, to clean out the sludge build up. We determined that there just is not enough water to thoroughly clean the clothes. The sales store had to replace the washer with another brand. There is an ongoing class action lawsuit against Lg for this problem. Do an online Search for lg washer lawsuit. By the way, we don't have a problem with clothes not getting clean with the Whirlpool Super Capacity Duet Front-Loading Washers. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

that means that the water is leaking from the hows at the back of the detergent drawer.

This is not a difficult fix, however the washing machine must be taken apart to access the detergent hose and find the leak.

Always better to call a technician.

LG washer uses so little water, clothes aren't even damp and not clean

You will need to have a qualified LG technician come out and see what the problem is.  You may have a water level switch issue.

Can you add clothes to washer after cycle starts?

Not really. Even if it lets you it will pump out the water first. This kind of defeats the purpose. If it didn't pump out the water it would spill on the floor.
