Turn on the DVD player. It generally takes a few seconds to get going. Take out the DVD if there's one in the drive already.
2
Make sure the disc isn't scratched or dirty. Use a soft rag to clean the disc if you see any smudges. Insert the CD into the DVD player's disc drive and close it.
3
Press the "Play" button on the DVD player or remote control. Some DVD players will begin reading the disc automatically. Pushing the button works just as well.
4
Use the "Scene Selection" buttons on your remote to select a track. Some DVD players have odd ways of ordering the buttons on the remote. You might have to play around a bit before you find all the right buttons to work the CD playing function of your machine.
5
Crank it up and enjoy your music. The DVD player will act just like a CD player and play the tracks of the CD through the TV.
1) Set your TV to channel 3. 2) Insert a pre-recorded tape into this unit. 3) Press the OUTPUT button on the DVD/VCR so that the VCR OUTPUT light is lit. • If noise appears on the TV screen, press the VCR/TV button on the remote control. 4) Press the PLAY button once. 5) After a few seconds, press the PLAY button on the DVD/VCR for 3 seconds. • The RF output channel will change to channel 3 from channel 4 and you will see a playback picture. • When a picture does not appear on the TV screen, repeat step [4]. 6) Press the STOP button to stop playback.
If the tv has a built in dvd player, you should simply be able to put a dvd in the drive and the tv will auto-switch to the dvd player.
If you have an external dvd player, ensure it is plugged into the tv.
On the remote you should have a button that says either "Source" or "Video"
Press this button until the video input your dvd player is plugged into is highlighted, then press "OK" or "enter" (some tv remotes have one button that highlights and also selects the input)
You may also press the "Menu" button and check in the "video" section if your tv supports "Auto input switching" This will allow your tv to automatically switch to whichever device (dvd player, game console) is turned on while the tv is on.
Please provide make / model of tv and possibly dvd player for further help.
Something is wrong..crbr799 your DVD-TV has a TV-DVD button on the right front to switch from TV to DVD play...OPEN button on left side ,place DVD in tray, close & press PLAY... I something simulator that needs the remote control for the SPECIAL functions....by the way the ORIGINAL r\c is $135 to $155, a replacement ($35) will turn the TV\DVD on ( which you can do without the r\c) and NOT function with anything else. P.S. they will try to sell you universal r\c that work with the CABLE boxes, the ones that you pay a monthly fee!!
Firstly, please make sure you have connected the SCART cable correctly. This should be connected to a SCART OUT socket on the DVD player to one of the SCART IN or EXT sockets on the rear of the TV.
If you have correctly connected the SCART cable the TV should automatically switch to the AV channel when you switch the DVD player power on or insert a disc.
Switch your TV on, then switch the DVD player off and then on again. If the TV does not change to the AV channel you may have the SCART cable connected incorrectly.
Not all TVs automatically switch to the AV channel when the AV device is switched on. On some TVs the AV input is on channel 0 or 99. On other TVs the AV input is not assigned to a specific channel. On these TVs you need to look for a button marked "AV", "INPUT" or "SOURCE" - either on the TV remote or on the buttons on the front of the TV. The easiest way to do this is to insert a disk into the DVD player and start it playing. Then press the "AV" "INPUT" or "SOURCE" button (whichever one you have) repeatedly until you find the signal from the DVD player.
Please check your connections and try using the "AV" "INPUT" or "SOURCE" buttons. If you are still unable to watch your DVD player, please post back with the following information:
1. Model number of the Bush TV 2. Brand and model number of the DVD player 3. If you are using any remote other than the ones supplied with the TV or DVD player, the brand and model number of the remote.
I will then be able to tell you exactly how it should be connected and which buttons (if any) you need to press to access the AV channel.
Sounds like your TV has lost the DVD channel. Turn off TV and make sure the DVD player is connected to TV and is playing a DVD. Now put you TV on and press the SOURCE or AV button on your TV remote until you can see the DVD channel. In older TVs you may need select channel and tune it manually using the TV setup.
HI THERE, I FIXED THE PROBLEM MYSELF BY KEEPING THE FUNCTION BUTTON ON THE DVD PLAYER PRESSED UNTIL IT FLASHED ""MODE"". THEN I PRESSED IT IN SEQUENCE TILL IT CAME UP WITH DVD/TV THEN IT AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHED OVER TO THE DVD FUNCTION MODE. ALL DONE. BUT THE TV/DVD BUTTON ON REMOTE STILL ISNT FUNCTIONING OR CROSSING OVER CHANNELL. HAVE TO DO IT MANUALLY VIA DVD PLAYER. EVERYTHING ELSE WORKING EXCELLENT. THANKS ANYWAY. HOPE THIS INFORMATION WILL BE OF USE TO YOU IN THE FUTURE. I CUD CHARGE YOU FOR THIS INFORMATION BUT I WONT THIS TIME.... LOL. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND GUDBYE...
Right, mine was stuck for a couple of weeks and i tried lots of different things. What worked for me was plugging it out and in again. Press the power switch and then just before the tv switches from normal mode to dvd recorder press the eject button. However, I pressed it a few time so not exactly sure which one worked. The burned DVD is now in a thousand pieces at the bottom of my bin! Good Luck!
It may havee a problem with the button you need to press to switch from VCR to DVD, from what i understand and have seen this switch over is not automatic. On your remote you should have a control to switch from VCR to DVD. In addition on your unit there should be a button to switch from VCR to DVD. Try this and let me know how it turns out, if you are still having trouble we can setup a troubleshooting session.
