My Sony Grand Wega projection tv, kf-50we610 has pink squiggly lines on the screen. Turned on the tv today and same lines were on screen just in a different spot.

Your TV is a LCD projection TV. It does not have a panel, it uses a optical block in order to project the image onto a mirror and to the screen of the TV.
This is a problem with the light engine, try contacting sony 800-222-7669 because there are some models that they extended the warranty on the light engine :)
