- Turn on your tablet
- Go in "desktop mode"
- In the "search bar" (swipe outside right to inside going left, tap "Search")
- Type "run" and tap the "Run" app icon
- In the textbox of the "run app", type "cmd" then tap "Ok"
- Type "wmic bios get serialnumber" in the command prompt
- Serial number will appear
There is also a sticker at the back of the tablet containing the serial number (bottom left). This number should match the one obtained from the wmic command.

Use Samsung Kies try restore option, it will ask you for serial no. and then it will give details about your tab.

I bought an asus transformer T100A through Groupon (Reburb) and the serial number on the back, when I try to register with Asus comes up bad. Help! Asus no help

Many manufacturers do not offer "registration" on refurbished products, especially if they were not purchased directly from the manufacturer. Many "refurbished" products are simply returns or defective products that have been sold to wholesalers for resell. Buyer beware is always the best advice when thinking about refurbished products.

How to find my ssid number?

Goto the settings menu and scroll to the bottom where it says about device. If your tablet is 3G it might be there. I found a serial number in the fine print on the back of my Tab 3 but mine is wifi only.

If it was me, I would get it warranty replaced. Even if you find a fix for this, it's going to hang over you like a cloud.

My Asus tf300t tablet is fully charged but now it won't switch on, what do I do? Help!!??

Keep "Power" button pressed for 15 seconds and then release it. Or you can try a "cold reboot": Keep "Power" and "Volume down" buttons pressed until you can see two icons on screen, then release both and the tablet will boot.
