My rci2980wx wont power

Maybe it's time for a reality check.
Maybe he doesn't think he's your boyfriend.
Maybe it's time to check out some other guys who might appreciate you more.

It may be shorting on the inside just where the power cord enters.

it could be several things......the rf final,bad mic,cold solder joint on the circuit board just to name a few.my suggestion is to find a good local cb shop,if no local shop find one along the interstate hwy most of the time they are located around or near some of the larger truck stops. tell the tech there what the problem is and go from there. good luck !!

yes it can be your ignition module or ignition coil getin hot. most auto parts stores test ignition modules for free.

Maybe the MP3 player thinks it has a fully charged battery, but it might have a damaged or deteriorated battery. If it turns on while charging, it's a battery problem.

You can test this with noid lights or a really good Digital voltmeter. Another method is to use a stethoscope place it on the injector and listen for it to click on and spray.

r u getin fuel-is the tank valve workin-maybe the float is stuck on carb-test to see if getin spark-ignition system could hav bad wire ie plug or coil connect

no it should remain constant.

VR16 is not the low power adjustment, it's the CW Tone.
As far as I can tell, there is no low power adjust.
Try a different resistance pot for the RF Power.
