That's an interesting one. Does the motor run but does not turn drum? If the motor is running but the drum is not turning then there is a possibility that the belt is not attached to the idler pulley correctly. Go HERE to see video on belt install. I have also ran into the screws that hold the tumblers in the tub loose and making noise. Check to make sure there are no screws sticking out of the tub. Well, you should take the battery out. Charge it completely and then turn it on. If it keeps happening try getting a new battery or go to your carriers store.
put key in ignition and turn all the way like your'e going to start it but don't start it. the security light is going to be flashing. leave it for ten minutes like that until the security light turns solid(not blinking). Turn the key to off and then start it. The tumblers in the ignition lock cylinder are no good any more and the ignition switch needs to be replaced and reprogrammed.
Hello, The rear rotor has 2 sets of brakes on it. The other thing is to look for slight movement in the driveshaft when it clunks. Depending on the rearend, some have to have both rear wheels off the ground to turn each side. And of course the trans in Neutral.
With the rear wheel you have an Emergency brake and a drum brake inside the center of the Rotor.
The rear of the brake backing plate has a rubber plug which is covering the Star-wheel adjustment for those drum brakes. You can try to loosen the Star-wheel to disengage the Emergency brake shoes. You can try pulling the brake cables toward the cab, to loosen the cables.
If this does not help, your Emergency brake shoe probably rusted off the brake mount and is jammed inside the drum. The linings fall off the metal like banana skins. I can tell you that if the Emergency brakes are a State safety requirement, you need to consider new rotors because the drum portion is usually trashed with rust.

Remove 2 screws under the lint filter cover, then using a spatula or similar, prize apart the top cover from the cabinet, lift top cover and support it.Turn drum by hand until the drum baffles are at the top, and refasten the baffles one at a time.
Then lower cover down and press until it is closed, replace 2 screwa under lint cover.
Job done.
