SOURCE: Kenmore front-load washer stops at rinse cycle

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Kenmore HE2 Frontload Washer will Not go into spin cycle

Could be that you have something in the pump. Remove the bottom panel by removing 3 screws and you will see a round cap facing you in the center of the washer at the bottom. there will be alot of excess water behind this cap so get ready with plenty of towels. Unscrew the cap as you would the gas cap on your car and all the water in the lines and in the machine will come out here. Inside here you may find a number of things. Some of the things I have pulled from them are ...coins, socks, pencils, underwear, underwires to bras. The list goes on and on. Or you may not be using "he" detergent. Use only "he" powder detergent. Use vegetable oil to remove excessive sudds build up then use 2 cups of vinegar to clean the machine on whitest whites seting.

SOURCE: Washer will not Spin during SPIN CYCLES

Check the lid switch. Through out time the lid switch housing can come apart from years of heat and cold. When I checked mine, I found the glue deterriated and the housing came apart. What I did to fix it is I zipped tied the housing together and did a functional check and it worked.

SOURCE: My Kenmore HE2 Plus codes F24. What does it mean

On this model of HE washer, the F24 code indicates that the water temperature sensor is out of range (23 degrees to 217 degrees F). This usually indicates a bad thermistor (temperature sensor). A bad wiring connection or a failed control board could also cause this problem. If you have the technical ability to safely access internal washer components, you may be able to repair this problem yourself. Diagnostic steps would involve unplugging the washer and checking the wiring connections between the thermistor and the control board. A resistance check of the thermistor would be needed using a volt/ohm meter.

hope this helps....

SOURCE: Washer will not spin, on rinse or spin cycle.

Good day,
Almost always the lid switch.
Here is a good tutorial on replacing it. It should be noted there are 3 different lid switches depending on your model, and as well, the screws that hold the top console may be in 3 different locations.
Bottom left and right, bottom left and right but under plastic end caps that have to be unclipped and finally on the bottom but at the rear.
Kenmore's are built by Whirlpool.

My washer won't spin & rinse

the wigwag switch may need to be serviced.
have someone come look at it and watch what they do taking it apart...
when they have it apart and tell you what is wrong... and what they are going to charge to fix it, if the repair is more than $50 tell them you will just fix it yourself.(the part is $23 at the local applience parts center)

Rinse and spin cycle keeps repeating at 11 minute time to 17 minute time and won't stop

Sounds like your washer does not empty enough water for the spinning to stop. Have you check that the filter(s) are not clogged?

Washer won't go into spin cycle, stops after final rinse. When I try drain &rinse it still will not spin.

If the unit does not spin correctly, this is usually an indication that the unit can also not drain. The unit will not spin if it senses a blockage or issue with the drain lines and/or pump. Try to check the drain lines in the back of the unit for any issue, and then see if you have an access panel to get to the coin trap or drain pump itself. Often socks and debris will clog up in this area and cause your problems.

Washer won't spin after rinse cycle

Hello Dorothy - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have either the pump or timer diagnose.

Kenmore series 80 washer won't drain after wash cycle

Try the 'drain' portion of a few of the other cycles (heavy, perm. press, delicates) and see if it will drain/spin there. You can also try advancing the timer slowly through the 'spin' portion to see if it kicks in anywhere.

If it will rinse and spin in the other cycles, you most likely have a bad timer.

Hope this helps.
