Turned the tv on and part of the screen is white flicker and then white lines flicker across the screen on half of the display, have tried a new tecon board and the problem improved but still not at 100% watchable any ideas? the led/lcd are not cracked.

Sounds like the flyback transformer is bad. couple of 100 dollars if it is that

Is the XD Demo on. This shows half of the screen with the XD picture engine on and the other with it off. Check your picture settings in the menu.

Your not alone with this problem.
I had to fix mine. The warranty is less than impressive.
The trouble is going to be the Power Supply/Backlight Inverter board.

This is board # BA71F0F01042. Replacement boards are hard to come by.
Fixing the board like I did seem to be the only option. If you need info on fixing it, let me know.

its random now where the parts of the screen are dodgy, it was at first 1/4 of the left side of the screen now its 3x1/4 of the screen all are diff shades of a "white mist" as i can see the display behind if i pop the menu up, ive been quoted that it could be too much voltage going to the tecon board?
