It is possible that you switched off the internal video display, enabling the external adapter. If this is the case, you should be able to plug in an external monitor, get your display back, and change monitors back to the internal one via software (display properties).
SOURCE: Does not startup or boot, displaying a blank screen
remove the battery and try to start the machine om AC power only

SOURCE: my dell mini's touchpad has locked up. I can't move the cursor
Whenever that happens to me I just restart my laptop and everything returns to normal...
SOURCE: Touchpad has no tap, left key not working.
Hi there,
I had this issue and resolved it by doing the following:
-Open the start menu by using the windows button
-Use the arrow keys to highlight run and press enter
-Type 'control panel' and press enter, find the mouse properties and enter
-From the buttons tab in mouse properties, go to double click speed and change to slow and confirm the changes
-At this point it probably still wont work, so do the above again but change the double click settings to fast and confirm.
-Restart your PC and this should resolve the matter. you can alter the double click speed again if you wish :)
Hope this helps,
tbo
Click the "Start" button and open the "Control Panel."
Select "Clock, Language, and Region."
Select "Region and Language."
Select the "Keyboards and Languages" tab.
Click your desired language from the "Display language" list.
Click "OK" to confirm the language choice.
hope this helps
