Kenmore 90 series Water pressure turning up and down

Kenmore 90 series washer - when set in auto water temp cold/cold the water seems to be turning up and down as it fills. It does not stop filling early, just pulses up and down. All other functions seem okay.

It will switch from hot to cold and back and forth trying to regulate the temp. You probrbly have more pressure in your cold water line than your hot or vise versa. This will cause it to seem to pulse. Dave www.washermd.com

Kenmore 90 Plus Series washer washer takes forever

is the cold water all the way on?

if so, the first thing to do would be to check the screens in the cold water fill hose and the screen in the cold side of the water valve on the back of the machine. if that is not the problem then replace the water valve.

(turn the water off before taking the hose loose)

I have no water pressure on my kenmore +90 series washer. Pressure from hose is fine.

Turn off the water. Remove the hoses from the back of the washer and clean out the filter screens in the water valve.

Kenmore 90 Series Washer : cold water fills at just a trickle:

your hot water goes through the water heater so contaminates settle in the heater. the cold does not, there is a screen inside the fill valve where the hose hooks to the valve on the machine. if this in not plugged then the fill valve will have to be replaced. because of the build up of contaminates..

Cold water starts and stops when washing

sounds like your washer has an auto temp. control if so the washer mesures the temp of the water and put in the manufacture set temp for that setting this board could be bad alowing only cold water to come into the machine. you could also have low hot water pressure at the washer be sure the hot water is turned all the way on. you may want to check to make sure no trash is in the hot water side of the water valve there is a screen in there where the hose conects you can remove that screen and clean it im sure one of these solutions will help you

Kenmore heavy duty washing machine 70 series

The most likely cause for water fill temperature problems is the solenoid has burned out, usually cold first, it gets used more. Not a repairable item , easy to replace

Hot/Cold water knob will not work on washing machine

Does the water flow when you have it on warm or cold settings?  If on warm setting and water flow is cold, its probably the mixing valve.  This part isnt that expensive, and not that hard to replace.  Remove the two front console caps, remove the two console hold down screws then flip the console out and then over the top.  You will see two gold cabinet hold down clamps, pop them out, the lift the whole cabinet off the unit.   You will see the mixing valve right where the inlet hoses connect to the machine.  Let me know if you need further help.
