SOURCE: F4 code when preheating oven
That code means "Shorted Oven Sensor". You can find out more about this by removing the bottom drawer, pull it out til it stops, lift it up and pull it all the way out. Now lay down on the floor and look under the oven to the left side. You will see a service info card there. Pull it out, open it up and have a read.
SOURCE: Oven isnt working
F4 is the code for a shorted temperature sensor.
You would need to check it with an ohm meter to be sure, but most likely the sensor has failed and will have to be replaced.
Post back if you have any questions.

HELLO THERE
this f4 code can also be a f3 but they all mean the same thing ity is telling you that the temperature sensor is bad and needs to be replaced
This is normally about a 30 to 40 dollar part it should be available at a local appliance repair center
Hi
F4 Error indicates
a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is
bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it
should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door
appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should
be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.
