I need to know the secret for getting the cabinet open to fix a leak. This is a Series 14 washer; I found the clips on the bottom and the screws on the back below the control panel, but I need to get to the water inlet assembly.

Hi Krazytech here, You will have to remove the cabinet to get to the pump end of the drain hose. First you must remove the top insert a putty knife to open the top lift up then remove screws that hold on the top then remove the screws that hold on the bottom. then you can get to the pump I alway replace the factory spring clamps with a screw hose clamp they are much better.. let me know

Take a plastic putty knife and insert it under head. On each side.there is a push tab now where the 2 screws used to be push real hard in and the head will pop up

Is the boot completely secure and not ripped or torn? The boot is the grey seal-like area that covers the drum. If it is torn at all, the water from whatever cycle, depending on when the water seeps through will end up on the floor.
Testimonial: "Thank you for your advise! I saw some rips in the boot. I have ordered a new one to replace."
