Volume on the alcatel 4004 phone how do you adjust the volume?

Go to the settings and make the call app to display notifications or sound out...if using a downloaded app for calling, adjust the settings of the app

Steps to adjust the ringtone volume for calls and text on your Alcatel OneTouch:

1. Press the Center key.
2. Scroll to Settings and press the Center key.
3. Scroll to Volume and press the Center key.
4. With Incoming Ringer Volume highlighted, press the Center key.
5. Scroll up or down the preferred volume level.

Under settings, the gear wheel looking button.
Select sound, then select volumes.
"Touch to set volume for Media, Ringtone, Notifications
and Alarm."
It should be ringtone volume.

The rocker volume is on the side of the phone. Up or down controls the volume.

To change your computer's volume, click the Volume control in the menu bar, then drag the slider to adjust the volume. If the Volume control isn't in the menu bar, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Sound. Click Output, then select the "Showvolume in menu bar" checkbox.

There should be a button on the outside right hand side of the phone that you can press either up or down

You need to modify the sound settings, select Options > Customize. One of the functions available is :
Volume: Press the Left or Right Navigation key to adjust the volume using the Up or Down Navigation key or volume key on the left side of your phone.

? Microphone? For the other person to hear you the microphone on the phone must work. You cannot adjust that. For you to hear them you need a speaker on your phone. You can adjust the volume of the speaker on your phone. If callers cannot hear you try putting your phone on the speaker, rather than handset mode so it becomes a speaker phone. Then, while talking to someone to test the phone, try holding it in different ways to see if you are covering the microphone with your fingers. Without knowing what model of phone (specifically) you have I can't figure out where these are located on your phone. You can google the model though and locate them yourself easily.

have you tried going to your settings and ajusting the volume frrom there?
