I have an issue that hopefully someone can help with. My washer just start having this issue. The issue that I have seen is when i start a load i hear the process, then nothing happens, but if i unplug the washer from the power and plug it back in with a few seconds, the process starts to fill as if it's going to run the cycle, however after about 5 seconds, it stops. I can unplug and replug the power and the process starts again. Would it be an issue with a power regulator or a controller board?

Before replacing check the voltage to the machine. Make sure the machine is not on any extension cord.when the machine is turned on make sure the voltage doesn't drop more than a few volts.

sounds to me like the motor is overheating and tripping out on thermal overload 10 minutes is the cool down time for reset .ohm the motor to check the Resistance and check the motor control unit for loose connections

Check the water level fill sensor. Some used to be pneumatic tubes connected to a sensor. Your washer may have a different type of sensor. It seems like it fills ant gets to a point where it expects the fill sensor to trip but instead just stops. Also re check ALL connections to main drive motor.
Also verify your mains power can handle the draw of the rated wattage. When it goes to engage the main drive motor it may not have enough current from the mains and simply stops.
Also check that the connection to the tumbler drum is not frozen.

The drain filter is clogged. I had the same problem. There is a filter inside the "drain boot" (black) that comes from the drum to the drain pump. Mine was completely clogged with money, lint, etc..

I have had this same problem. The tech that fixed it said the "sump" was clogged. Ive read several posts that seem to support this. It sounds like a simple self fix, but im not wanting to tear the thing open. Soooo a repairman it is for me. good luck
