It sounds like you need to replace the lamp.

SOURCE: Immediately Shuts off with blinking light codes

I suggest doing a google search using the tv model # and brand.
I have learned myself that different big screen tvs seem to each have their own common problems. I have read before of power supply issues that cause what your describing.

If the lamp has been replaced I would think the Lamp ballast would be most likliest followed by the color wheel and then the Digital board. You can get any part needed for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com just leave them a email they respond quickly.

SOURCE: Samsung DLS not working(with new lamp)

The grinding sound is most likely the color wheel. The lamp will not fire up if the computer senses the color wheel is not in motion or turning too slowly. It does this to protect the color wheel from being burned.
Something else you need to realize is the fans sometimes make some noise(especially the fan at the rear of the DMD Board).
The Ballast does not go bad that often and is misdiagnosed more times than it actually needs to be replaced. Sometimes the DMD Board is defective and won't send the color wheel the signal to start which in turn doesn't let the lamp turn on. I have read this misdiagnosed as a bad lamp, ballast, and color wheel multiple times. I currently have two of these in my shop at the moment and they were both verified by swapping known good DMD Boards.
There is some very good information available on this site but many times it isn't that simple of a repair. You need to get all the information and verify before buying parts. Most of the time it will pay for someone to have a reputable shop do a repair rather than buy parts that are not needed. I have had three people buy lamps in the last week, and two replace capacitors, only to give me a call and fix the problem correctly. All of these people got the repair tips from the internet.

The front R/H turn signal will not flash, the R/H side marker and the tail light both flash(at a faster than normal rate). All other lights work and isn't the bulb or a fuse from the box by the steering...

i think you need to recheck the bulb any time the turn signals flash at a faster rate it is indicative of a bad bulb or a bad connection at the bulb, also make sure the bulb is installed correctly, if it is in backwards it will also cause the problem you are having.the bulb has two filament just because the parking light is working doesn't mean the filament for the turn signal is OK if ever in dought replace the bulb.

I replaced the bulb in this tv a year and half ago, and the tv just went out and will not come on. Could it need another bulb/lamp?

Yes, bulb life varies from bulb to bulb and how many times it is turned on and off. Do you get any flashing codes? In your manual you should find something on a bulb life indicator, some flash on the front of the set others are in the menu, look and see what it says there. If your getting any flashing codes on your indicator light let me know what they are as well

I was watching the TV, and heard a weird crack sound. The TV went yellow, and when I shut it down, the lights in the front flashed as if I needed a new bulb. I replaced the bulb, and it acts like it can't...

It sounds like the color wheel has failed and needs to be replaced. I don't know what brand you have but I would find a factory authorized repair center for that brand. You can usually find one by googling the manufacturers' name.

Panasonic LiFi model number PT-50LCZ70. Have red lamp light flashing on front 2 times. Have tried to turn it on and get no picture and no sound at all. I checked and the fan is running. What now?

After the red 2 flashing starts, press the power button on the front of the TV and hold pressed down for ten seconds.
You will hear a faint click comming from the back of set.
After 10 sec release the button and wait 10 more seconds then press the start button and release right away.
The green light flashes and the bulb attempts to start.
I found my picture will turn on on the third attempt of the bulb restarting.

When you do this and the room is dark you can see the bulb attempt to restart, My bulb has restarted on the third restart every time.

(note: The three start attempt happen after I do the button pressing
1 time and I do not need further button pressing restarts.

I think panasonic needs to let us know what the problem is.

I called Panasonic and they told me to plug it into a wall plug by itself.

I have it plugged into a multi plug adaptor now and have not tried this yet.

Television will not turn on

Wow, this just happened to me( 12/12/08). Mine was under warranty, but it took the guy like 2 min to replace the buld. It's in the front bottom panel on the left side. I think the buld cost a little over $200. I hope you don't ened up with the same problem I am having now, "the red glow" on 75% of the screen. I think it's the light engine.

Mits wd52525 bulb replacement

Good Day Cawhite;
You replaced lamp and still get flashing light.
1. TV's 'ballst may be bad.
2. If lamp comes on for 2-3 seconds, the problem will most likely be the caps in the power supply. (to see lamp turn on you have to take off back or front (inner panel).
Hope this was helpful.
Good luck, Big Irish.
