My kenmore elite oasis runs fine but wont go through spin cycle

Could be the lid switch is bad.

You may have a broken pump belt, or belt may have fell off pump pulley. Another possibility is that you have a bad clog before the pump keeping water from draining. Your machine will agitate because this is a separate belt. Good Luck Friend.

There is likely to be a problem with either the lid solenoid/lock or the 'lid closed' sensor requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest. Sorry ;-0(

its suppose to start with lid down,the draining may be a faulty water level switch so this needs replaced.

That's how it's supposed to work. I suspect a motor / transmission problem.

could have a blocked drain/ coin trap. Look under the washer behind a panel or in the back. You may have to take out screws

it sounds like a bad lid switch if it will not drain or spin,the switch controls that-mike

Did you ever find out what is wrong? This is exactly what has been going on with ours.

I have a kenmore elite washer. whwn on spin cycle it does not spin and als o will no agitate. There is a loud noise wen on spin cycle. Please help

it seems to me ur washer transmission is going out or already there
