Kenmore 70 series dryer leaving brown marks

Hello! I have an older Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 series dryer, Extra Capacity, Soft Heat. Model number: 96573220 65732. It has begun leaving brown marks, like burn streaks, on my clothes. I have seen other users with similar problems and was hoping someone might show me where and how I can replace the felt drum gasket seal (which is what I suspect is the problem). Where can I find parts for this and how do I go about installing them? Thank you in advance for the help!

You can get the parts direct from www3.sears.com and to replace it you pop up the top, take 2 screws out holding front panel onto cabinet and take off, take belt loose from idler and motor and slide drum out ,, go back same way / thanks

Why isn't My Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 Series Soft Heat Extra Capacity Electric Dryer drying clothes on any one cycle?

One possibility: Air flow! Make sure that the lint trap is cleaned before each cycle. You likely need to thoroughly clean out the vent piping out the back of the machine- a buildup of lint in here can also restrict airflow.

Kenmore dryer shuts off after five minutes

The vent box inside the dryer still has lint in it. You need to reach way inside to get at it. Turn power off.

Dryer timer is not working and won't heat but runs fine

check the ignitor. That's a very common cause for no heat in a gas dryer. other possibilities are the coils, or it could be that you have a bad fuse in the dryer.
