Language setting On my HP Laser Jet 3300 i accidentally hit the language setting and change my display settings to russian. i can not read russian so am not able to get back to english. can you help me. thank you

I think is russian :) try with menu settings language and change to english if have the manual.

Follow these steps to change your language to English: 1. Go to menu on your phone. 2. then move to settings. 3. Under settings you will see language settings. 4. pick the language you want under language settings. You are back to English. I hope that helps. Good luck.

There is also the possibility to change the settings via Web Server. You will find in the same manual how to use the Web server.

To translate what shows up on the lcd screen on the printer, try using http://translate.google.com to translate it to English so you can proceed.

Unplug all cables and cords after turning off the HP CP2025. Hold down the "OK" and the small left-directed return arrow button. While holding them down, reconnect the power cord and turn the machine on. The screen will display "Permanent Storage Init." Release the two buttons. It will then ask you what language you want. Follow the prompts. Thanks to Edward Paulinski and his instructions for the HP 3300. I was able to convert his instructions to work on this model!

A. To change the display language back to English, please perform the following steps:

1. Press the right arrow 2 times, press the OK button (you should be in the System Setup menu).

2. Press the OK button again (you should be in Language).

3. Press the right arrow until you see something that may be English, press OK button. The menu is a continuous loop, so if you miss it the first time the option will return.

My company uses nothing but HP printers some are connected to the network while others are locally connected to a computer. I have worked with this exact model.

First, the easiest thing to try is to power cycle the printer. Hold down the button to turn off then turn back on. You can also unplug it from its power source then plug back in.

Power cycling this printer should reset the language to default (English) or it will let you select the language when it comes back on. If that doesn't work then you can try to change it using the installed software.

Considering the fact that someone accidentally changed the language, I am assuming this printer is connected directly to a computer that you all have access to and this is not a network printer.

If this is a local printer (connected directly to the computer via USB or parrallel port) then you should have an HP Toolbox app or some other program that allows you to configure software related settings for the device. Open this tool and you should find an option for the language. This may not be available, depending on how the installation was handled (if it was installed using the CD provided by the manufacturer or installed using downloaded drivers).
