I get an error message that there was an error on startup and that I can use the repair feature to fix problems that might be preventing quickbooks from starting. I don't know where the repair feature is and what I need to do to get back into quickbookspro

Repair quickbooks
Windows 8, 7 or Vista
On your keyboard, press Windows + E to open the Computer window.
Note: in Windows 8, click the Computer tab.
Click Uninstall or change a program.
Select QuickBooks.
Once QuickBooks is selected, click Uninstall/Change.
In the QuickBooks Installation window, click Next, select the Repair radio button, click Next, click Repair.
Click Finish. Your installation of QuickBooks should now be repaired.
Windows XP
Click the Start button and select Control Panel.
Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
Select QuickBooks, and then click Change/Remove.
In the QuickBooks Installation window, click Next, select the Repair radio button, click Next, click Repair.
Click Finish. Your installation of QuickBooks should now be repaired.

You can find the repair feature in the control panel add/remove programs window.
Open your control panel, click on add/remove programs, scroll down to QuickBooks and click remove (it won't you will be prompted to either repair or remove). Have you disk handy in case it prompts you for it.

I just need to access my payroll info for W2/W3's - for first couple months of 2008. Business is now closed. HELP!
