You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. 1. From the top of the screen, swipe downwards.
2. Select 'More'.
3. Tap 'Security'.
4. Find 'Lock Screen Password' and tap 'Off'.
5. Now enter your current password.
6. Select 'Next' and tap 'Done' to confirm.

It will not ask for a password each time you turn on or it goes to sleep!

Hello Jachin, if you still have this problem. Try doing a "hard reset"
- Turn off tablet
- Hold down the power and volume "down" key together
- when red text appears select "yes" by holding down power key for 10 secs.

Reformatting shall commence

Please note that this process works on most android tablets.

Be sure that CAPS LOCK is not turned on.

Be sure that you have not used LEFT-SHIFT-and-CTRL to select a different input language (such as French).

Reboot, and press F8 to get a menu. Choose "Safe Mode".
You should be able to reset the password.
