The larder is too cold even on the lowest settings the salad box goods freeze the freezer seems to be ok have checked for ice inside the unit but there does not seem to be any wondering if the thermostat is broken landlord has just installed new central heating system looked at the tube and evaporator dish there is a tube running into the dish which seems to have a flap at the bottom cant find an engineer to do the job not sure how to progress fridge is just over 2 years and out of warrenty
You know that the lowest setting is the coldest .
Set it to 35 refrigerator, 6 degree freezer and see what haopen

If the frost build up is on the back panel of the freezer then it has a defrost problem which causes a no cool situation. Let me know more about this frost buildup and what you have done.

Generally speaking it is the refrigerator control that controls the compressor operation. Refrigerator is cooled by air from the freezer. When the refrigerator gets down to its designed temperature it shuts off the compressor. The freezer control determines how much air is allowed to flow into the refrigerator section and there-by controls the freezer temperature.

take out everything and at the lower inside back of the freezer you have a drain ..... pour hot water till it opens / the water comes from you evap when it goes into defrost and it cant get out the drain / Larry
