Remote sensor is always on front of set behind a clear or tinted small lens and inside it usually is on a circuit board .

SOURCE: TV is 73" DLP Mitsubishi.

Hello
There are tow reaons for this fault. The first one is with the colour whell as you mentioned here. The second and most importan one is with its bulb itsef. Colour wheel won't cost too much. Just replace it first and see whether it helps you. If not, bulb may have to be replaced.OL

Remote control not working on the tv. Factory remote and cable remote

Hi, first try camera test (video below). If it is not transmitting a signal then it is defective. You should purchase a new one (link below.) MITSUBISHI 290P187020 TV Remote Control

Mitsubishi remote troubleshooting

The remote can be tested (every button if needed) by any shop--a digital camera in a very dark room will react when the remote is pointed at it and buttons pressed with a faint flash on the camera display.

If remote tests good that leaves the remote receiver in the set.

You could always download a universal remote app from Google Play that should work. Hope this helps you
