The model listed has a self check: when you turn it on and green power light comes on and goes out in a few seconds, on the front of the set press and hold both the Menu and Input(input may be labeled Source) at the same time and hold for at least 5 seconds.

Release both buttons and the power light will blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and repeat for a total of 5 times.

If you have unplugged the set you will have to plug it back and turn set on, let it fail and then do the check--removing power clears all errors.

Let me know what code you find.

The most common reasons an INFINITI I35 heater isn't working are a broken heater blower motor, a problem with the thermostat, or a failed heater blower motor resistor.

MY REMOTE TURN THE TV ON, BUT IT TURN OF MY IT SELF. I CAN TURN THE TV ON BY POWER, BUT IT ALSO TURN IT SELF BACK OFF.

do the self check this set has, when power light goes off, ON THE FRONT OF THE SET PRESS AND HOLD BOTH THE MENU AND INPUT (DEVICE) BUTTONS FOR AT LEAST FIVE SECONDS AND RELEASE BOTH.

Watch the power light, it will blink a two digit error code=====most common is two blinks, two blinks a pause and it will repeat the code several times.

This is to narrow down where the problem is.

Let me know what error code you find and I will tell you what it means.

Locked out

Most of these sets have a keyboard lock used so children cannot change inputs etc and it usually can be turned off by holding the menu button in for about ten seconds.

THE SET SHOULD STILL WORK WITH A REMOTE!

If it does not work with a remote and comes on for a moment and then the power light goes out----the set is in shutdown and I can tell you how to do the built in self check this set has for this.

Either the keyboard is locked or the set is actually in shutdown.

Need code for urc-3605 for bell express vu satillite

Programming an Expressvu remote control can be frustrating. There are two basic ways of doing in it. The first one involves knowing both your TV brand name and also knowing the proper code to input in your remote. The second method is doing an automatic search. The following is a step by step procedure in how to program your dish network or Expressvu remote.

1)Make sure your TV and Satellite Receiver is ON.
2)Press and hold TV button until all lights on the side of it flashes. The TV button is the second button on the Top left hand side corner of the remote control.
3) Release that button, then press & release RED Button. You will notice TV button is stays on. If, it doesn't stay ON, you must repeat step 2 & 3. Otherwise, your batteries are low, you MUST change then.
4)Press and release the UP Arrow Key on the remote until TV turns off. Notice the UP arrow key button is the button below the volume keys (Stop button for VCR.)
5)Make sure you are aiming remote control to TV while pressing and releasing UP arrow key button. When you find the right code, the TV will turn OFF.
6) Immediately after, TV turns off, press # key.

9 months ago our Mitsub WS-65611 starting turning

The part number you indicate is the STK-393-110 convergence IC that this set uses--it is possible it is bad again--if properly installed it should not have failed for at least 5 years.

When the set shuts off, on the front of the set engage the self check feature this set has: when the power light goes off ON THE FRONT OF THE TV press both the MENU and INPUT buttons at the same time and hold them for at least 5 seconds and then release both buttons.

The power light should blink a two digit error code: for example--2 blinks, a pause and 2 blinks--this is the most common and it will repeat the code several times.

Mitsubishi WS 65807 issue- Pressing power button turns unit on for about 5 seconds and then the power shuts off. Unplugged for about 30 seconds and disconnected it from all other equipment, reconnected...

The model you have selected should have a self check feature: when turns off and the green power light goes off:

ON THE FRONT OF THE SET PRESS AND HOLD BOTH MENU AND INPUT(some sets the input is called device) together for at least 5 seconds and then release both buttons.

The power light should blink a two digit error code: for example: 2 blinks, a pause and 2 blinks--it will repeat the code about 10 times.

error codes for this set:

1, then 2 no error detected
2, then 1 X-ray protection
2, then 2 short protection
2, then 3 deflection circuit problem
2, then 4 vertical deflection problem

2, then 2 is the most common and easiest to fix.

Let me know what you find and if 2,2 I have detailed instructions for repairing that kind of trouble.

Remote is stuck in dvd 3 mode

  1. On your remote, push and hold "Enter"
  2. At the same time, push and hold "2"
  3. Keep them down for about 5 seconds
  4. Your remote should now work with the unit
  5. You can go to the set up menu and change the unit back to DVD3 if you wish, but you'll then need to repeat these steps using the "Enter" and "3" buttons
