The thermofuse and the thermistor is located in the fusing unit.Open the front cover,remove 1 screw and pull out the fusing unit(the left exit cover must open).Remove 2 screws and the unit front cover.Remove 2 screws and the upper cover,remove the harness from the harness guide,unplug the connectors of the two thermistors.Remove one screw,shoulder screw and the harness guide,remove one screw and the thermoswitch cord,remove 2 screws and the temperature detector assy.Using a soft cloth dampened with alcohol or oil,wipe clean the 2 thermistors.Verify a continuity of the thermoswitch and clean using a soft cloth dampened with alcohol,wipe clean the thermoswitch.99% the problem is a thermofuse.

E7 -fusing overheat
To reset accesing SP 41 and changing the date from 1 to 0 must be done to clear these service call condition.

Ihave error code c5oo c501 in bizhub 211

The C-500 - Warming up failure.Check the fuser heater lamp continuity,end the thermofuses.
The C - 510 Abnormally low fusing temperature.Verify the thermofuse and thermistor.
For reset the malfunction codes press the switch located on display right side (a little hole) wait to appaire in central left side on the display * and press 3 and touch the Trouble reset mode.,and press Exit,the copier turn ON automatically.

To answere your question, you need to remove the front of the machine witch inclused the door and the thermistor is located near the blower housing.

There is also a thermofuse and Thermostat located on the heater tube you might want to make sure its ok and befor you do anything make sure you unplug the machine.

If the error E000 is a fuser lamp problem or the thermistor/thermofuses, where exactly are these located?

This is the section that heats up inside the machine, located at the exit side of the copier. For this machine you would replace the whole fuser unit. Looks like a job for your local dealer.

I have a RICOH FT 4022 copier and it displays E 5 error code. It does not allow copying. I have checked the fuser unit and its ok. What could be the problem? Do I need a reset code to solve it and where do...

The E5 code is the fuser malfunction error.
E52 fusing lamp warm up error.Possible causes thermistor open,heater lamp open,thermofuse open.
E53 fusing lamp overheat.Thermistor in shortcircuit
E55 fusing thermistor open
When service call E5 conditions occur they cannot be cleared by turning OFF/ON the power switch.To reset turn ON the main switch,turn DIP switch 101-1 ON and OFF(the DIP switch is located in rear part under main supply board).,and turn the main switch OFF and ON.
