Our washer has vibrated and jumped around for most of its life. just heard briefly on tv news that there was a recall related to this; didn't catch what to do. the belt is broken. the machine wont spin or agitate with a broken belt. set the timer to spin and the water should still drain. but not spin. belts are very cheap but replacing on could be tricky if you dont know what your doing

well as far as a work around goes you can go to lowes and get longer hoses and cords and swap them around the door on the washer is not reversable because of the door lock how ever the drier door is hope that helps
