SOURCE: Have been told that there is no requirement to have external power for the GT Steering wheel and pedals when connected to PS3.

My buddy has this one, and I do not believe he has an external power source :)

SOURCE: Feel and force (force feedback) has just stopped!

check that the power supply is working properly

the wheel works with out the power supply

try and plug the plug in a different socket and see if it works
so if you have a voltmeter / multimeter check for voltage in the output plug of the power adapter

Can't get thrustmaster f1 ferrari wheel to work with PS3 Nascar 2011. Wheel hooks up to system but once game is launched does not function (neither do pedals)

Same problem. I called Thrustmaster yesterday and they said that they're working with Nascar to fix the problem. They couldn't give me any guarantees that it would be fixed, though.

Problema with thrustmaster racing whell

this is because the 2 pedals are acting as buttons. so wen u press them then computer thinks ur pressing a button all way down instead of rotating an axis. you have to somehow find a way to tell computer that you have pedals and that the axis have to be callibrated in control panel. i have no idea how this is done though.
