Screen Flickers Have 34 Scanners, approx half have a screen flickering problem, almost as if a button was benig held down. You have to remove the battery to reset.

You have answered your own question, someone needs to open it and find a loose plug or broken solder connection--if it reacts to being tapped on that is the issue- a physical problem inside.

Sounds like you screen is dying on you.

if rebooting the monitor would do no good, try to get a spare monitor cable if the same flickering issue took effect. If it is so, then call your pc provider to repair your monitor..

if it is an iPod touch, Hold down the sleep button and the home button together until the screen flickers and you then see an apple logo. If it is an iPod classic ,nano (except the latest), mini, hold down the select and play button together until the screen flickers and you see an apple logo.

Try holding the home button (one on the front of the phone) and the power button (at top of phone) down both at the same time until the the screen flickers off, then keep held down or repeat this until the apple logo reappears.

remove the screen and reinsert it.....may be some loose connections.. try using another screen...if problem persists then update the firmware or else change the screen....

Try connecting to an external monitor if display screen is only showing half of my desktop, the other half goes black or flickershalf of my desktop, the other half goes black or flickers various colors then it is the video card if not....have ur display screen changed.

Replugged it remove it and clean it and then plugged it again and then check what message comes to u r screen if the message comes so install it one more time or if it would not connect so change the port of plug and then restart u r pc and try that problem will solve

it sounds possibly that it is going into hibernation. a single press of the power button should bring it back alive.
also feel the bottom of the laptop.... if it is getting close to meltdown you need to clean the dust and dirt from the heatsinks. the fan area may appear to be clear but all the junk gets blown against copper heat sinks so you need to remove the covers to get at it.
