Hi Giles

You probably have your router connected to your modem, and a PC connected wired/wireless, and the ps3 connected wired/wireless.

1. First you need to start your ps3 system. Go to your network settings and select information. Write down your IP, Subnet mask, Standard Gateway, and the primary DNS.

2. Start your PC and go to your networks settings. Right click your network adapter, click properties. Select "Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Click properties and type in manually the IP adress, Subnet mask, Standard gateway and DNS.

Then you click "Advanced" and then you click "WINS" then "Activate NetBIOS over TCP/IP". Save your settings and connect the ps3 to your network (should not make a difference if you do it wired or wirelessly)

Let me know if this helped and please do rate my solution.

Wired nor wireless connections for my ps3 wont work

if you setup your wireless in adhoc mode like useing the pc wirless it wont work because ps3 doesnt see adhoc wireless.

and for the ethernet connection is the pc setup right. you have to enable internet sharing on the accuall interface that has internet..
If local area connection 1 is connected to internet and local area connection 2 is plugged into ps3 then under local area connection 1 settings you have to set share this connection and in the drop down menu select local area connection 2. other than that you need to buy a router.

Radio wiring

The JVC unit has a RED wire, it sounds like this is connected to a power source that is ON with ignition...this is OK. Your unit also has a YELLOW wire, and it sounds like this also connected to a power source that is ON with ignition.....NOT OK....this wire needs to be connected to a power source that is On all the time.

Change clock time.

The XN120 I know is a PBX, so setting the time sets it for all phones connected to the PBX. The time can only be set on an XN120 system phone which has an LCD display (or a PC - see below). It's quite complicated - refer to setup guide such as
http://www10.GIScafe.com/nl/newsletter_confirm.php?enc_email=ZGF2ZS5jb3ZlbGxAc2lnbWFzZXZlbi5jby51aw==&subscriber_key=5d4ff921b647525ca172f7fb11ae56b4

Some of these PBX systems have TCP/IP network cards installed so the time can be set from the NEC PC-Pro configuration program run on a network connected PC.

My wireless network is no longer listed

Ok there needs to be a few diagnostics first.

Can you still connect to to router with a wired connection?

If so, can you veiw the settings for the wirless network,, and are they the same as before?

If you cant connect with a wired connection i'd probably say the router needs replacing.

Please let me know if you can connect with a wire and if you can access the wireless settings?

Purchased new laptop from Wal Mart @ christmas. initially connected to internet wireless and hard wire. now pc says it is connected but will not display any pages....is this a personal settings problem?...

it's more a browser issue, actually..

if you're on a wired connection or wireless, your laptop will let you know. Check in bottom of tray, to see that you're connected..

if so, go to browser(IE) and check Internet options/settings to ensure that you have active connections with those network options.

get updated printer drivers here, just in case

Wireless and internet

1. Make sure that wireless settings are properly synchronized.
>> ssid/security key.
2. Check your computers wireless connection status
> Make sure that it is set to "obtain ip address automatically)
3. If still not working if computer is set to obtain ip automatically, try assigning static ip on wireless pc
> You need to know your router's ip address and dns
4. Disable firewall on wireless pc.

My wireless is not working...

You will have to remove the cable from your wired card first, as your pc cannot open 2 networking ports and obtain an ip address. The wireless card needs to be able to pick up the address and dns address from the router, so when your disconnected from wired card, your wireless should search for wireless connections and allow a conection.
