RCA CTC203 no red colour

It sounds to be a video output stage circuit fault. Check all the solder terminals at its CRT base card, including the solder terminals of the CRT base to the card. Re-solder all the suspected solder terminals by applying a little more fresh solder. Contact any service technician. Check the solder terminals of Red color output transisotor. If needy, replace it with a new one with same number printed on it. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy. The fault is 'one colour predominant/absent screen'

My rca 52 inch hdtv picture looks bowed on the top and bottom of screen. And everything looks like it has a red shadow behind it.

you have lost one of 3 things,Antenna/Cable, Tuner or part of your tv's power supply

Use the one that comes with the new transformer. The old one can be removed by squeezing the sides of sucktion cup.

sounds like the blue tube is gone out

I had the same issue as you pretty much exactly and so do others right around this last few weeks so I am thinking that this is a common problem with the product itself.

Hi, looks like a "Shop" job to me... ask for a "Quote" B4 ya proceede. If it's a CRT screen then ya have "Lost" one or more of ya colour "Guns" if LCD then the Driver circuitry has gone faulty. Either way it's not an easy fix.. for a home job.
