How do I find the WiFi MAC Address for my LG840G phone?

My home router has MAC Address filtering enabled, and I want to add my LG840G to the filter list. I can't seem to find the phone's MAC anywhere in the Settings. Help, please!

    Select the WiFi app from the Main Menu screen - Turn WiFi on - Choose the Menu icon in the upper right of the screen, just below the clock - 3 options should show in the menu_ Connection Logs, My MAC Address, WiFi Sleep Setting. Choose My MAC Address, and it will show the properly formatted hex code, similar to this_ F0:A1:B2:C3:D4:E5.

You must enable the mac address of the TV on your routers wireless menu. Once you access the router enter the wireless setup tab and select MAC filter. Enter the mac address there and check the enable box and the permit box. Save the changes and your tv will then connect to wifi.

Just enable wireless security and only give the password to those you wish to have access. You could also enable MAC filtering, but it's easy enough to defeat.

Open the setup page of the router and go to wireless tab. Click Wireless MAC filter sub tab. If wireless MAC filter is enabled then disable it. This option is always disabled by default. I think the wireless network might be the issue. If your wireless network is secured then make sure that you are entering the correct network key WEP / WPA .

Hi, the MAC address filtering settings can be accessed by logging into your router's configuration software (type 192.168.1.1 into your web browser and hit Enter, then type in your username and password) and going to the Wireless tab and beneath that, Wireless MAC Filter. You can either choose Disable to turn the MAC filter off completely, or you can choose Edit MAC Filter List and add your Kindle's MAC address to the list of approved devices.

Does your linksys access point have MAC filter and/or passkey (like WEP, WPA, etc)?

If it has MAC filter, then please follow these steps:
  • On your iPhone, go to Settings
  • Then General
  • Then About
Scroll down to see the Wifi's MAC address, and note it down. Then go to your linksys's wifi router's page, and add this to it's MAC filter list.
If there is any other problem than above, then do mention it, and I'll try my best to assist you.

How do i add the mac address of my xbox 360 to my router
You have to go into the Xbox 360 network settings and locate the MAC address. It's either called MAC address or physical address. Then in your router, you have to find something called mac address filtering and add it to the list. If you don't have mac address filtering enabled, I don't see a reason why you would need to add it to your router.

192.168.1.1 Put that in your browser to access your router, the username is usually admin, and password is usually admin. Good luck!

Hi, this issue is caused when message authentication code (MAC) address filtering is enabled on the Wi-Fi network, and the MAC address of the BlackBerry smartphone is not accepted.
To resolve this issue, add the MAC address of the BlackBerry smartphone to the accepted MAC address list for the Wi-Fi network.

Youtube connectivity issue, on wifi movies will not load ...
First thing i would double check is to make sure the Iphone is being allowed on the network at all at home.

Some routers you have to go into the setup and manually allow a new device to access the network.

This is done with your MAC address on the Iphone, to find the MAC of your phone go to your home page, touch settings, then general, then about. Your MAC address is called your Wi-Fi address.

Every router is a little different but usually there is a Mac Filtering section under most routers. Add this address into the Filtering section and allow it to the network.
