I have 1 channel on analog

Well i just got my insgnia 32 inch led tv and was inpressed but when i was setting up my channels i notcied i had 1 analog channel and i have cable can anyone tell me what i need to do to get my channels (sidenote- i have 2 other tv's in my house and they all have over 100 channels so i know i should have more)

have you tried to change the audio settings to HDMI on tv? when u have HDMI hookd up u have to change the audio to HDMI also

SOURCE: No digital channels

  1. Cable company sending something through the line. Also th insigna has a different tuner. Also can the insignia find the digital channels using an antenna?

SOURCE: We've hooked up the tv - all channels are coming

Hubby spoke to the guys at Best Buy and learned that this was normal as there is no HD reception here.

most of the time you put the cable in the box, the box does everything for you , you connect the cable from the box to the tv, turn the tv, go to settings, go to channel select auto tune

Just purchased an RCA 32" LED TV from K-Mart. Trying to set-up and in auto-scan it will not pick up any channels
It really depends on how your connecting signal. I am not sure about where you are but virtually all cable companies in Canada require the use of the cable box. Searching channels will only check either the analog cable input or rabbit ears. Typically you hook up the cable box via HDMI and set the televsion to that HDMI input and channels are changed on the cable box.

Make sure you have the menu set on digital channels not cable. Set antenna to air to pickup digital hd channels.

How do I connect an analog antenna to a 32 inch sharp aquos tv? and do I need a specific input setting?
antennas are not analog or digital, just VHF, UHF and they typically connect to a RF coaxial jack on the TVs rear panel. 75ohm silver round jack. Select in your TVs menus, AIR when you want over-the-air TV stations and do a new channel scan to pick up local channels.

When you select channels, the one that comes in the channel number will be green and if you manually select 03 it will probably be red. Hit menu and add channel 03

Cable
Don't know where you are from, however, if you are with mediacom or a similar Cable provider, They informed me that their cable box does the converting and will only work when your tv is set to Analog. So, searching for "digital" channels will get you no-where. Set and search channels in analog and you "should" receive digital. Call your local cable provider and see if they tell you the same. Silly question, but are you signed up for digital service???
