SOURCE: Viera Link not work between two brand new Panasonic devices

You need to select setup from the TV menu then switch the Viera link on. I think retuning must have switched it off.

SOURCE: viera link pop up problem...ANNOYING

You need to (either or both) change from Shop setting to Home, and turn off Viera Link demo.

Go into the menu, choose set up and re set to shipping settings.

SOURCE: Just bought a 50 panasonic viera, when we hook up

Plasma TV normally do not have the resolution required for PS3 unless the plasma TV is fullHD( 1920x1080p) pixels.

HD Ready Plasma = 1024 x 768p
PS3 Outputs = (fullHD)1920x1080 or (HDReady) 1280 x 720p.

LCD TV accepts the resolution matches the resolution the PS3 is outputting.

Usb soundbar speakers

If you have a stereo system that is in the higher bracket area then just connect your TV to the TV input jacks on the back of your amp. Or use the "Phono" input jacks. Nobody listens to vinyl anymore anyway.

I am getting no sound out of my Panasonic Viera TH-50PX80U Plasma TV

Are the speakers' cables connected correctly? (p. 37) Is "Sound Mute" active? (p. 13) Is the volume set to the minimum? Is "Speaker output" set to "Off"? (p. 22) Change "SAP" settings. (p. 16) Check "HDMI 1 in", "HDMI 2 in" or "HDMI 3 in" settings. (p. 22)
Hope this helps, page# refer to your manual.

How do i set my home theatre as the default speakers on my viera led/lcd tv. When i turn off the tv and my JBL SB350 soundbar it resumes to tv speakers when i turn it on again?

Page 104 of the manual. It's through the Viera link settings. I have a similar TV. It's a little convoluted.

Through Viera link you set sound selection to Home Cinema and it mutes your TV speakers when your external speakers are on. I use that now now with a similar sound box (Zvox). It works fine. That doesn't work with the playbar...

enable hotel mode by pressing, at the same time, the down volume button on the side of your tv and the 'tv' button on the remote 3 times. A menu will pop up where you can set max volume to 0.

Having just bought a Panasonic TX-37LZD80 television and a panasonic sc-pt460EB-K home cinema system, I connected the 2 together using a HDMI Cable and all works well except that I cannot get the sound...

When I purchased the television iI was told that I would only need a HDMI cable to connect the devices together, this is not true as the HDMI only provides 1 way transmission, to get the sound to go from the television back to the home cinema you need to use either a Phono Lead or Optical lead, plug them in and Hey Presto it works.
