Remote Start with Audiovox ELVATOE PROOE4BS Not Working
I have other problems with this system, such as the doorlocks don't work with my remote, alarm goes off on a low volume at random times while I'm driving. I've had the remote start working just fine, which is most important to me (it's 10 degrees out today here in NJ). All of a sudden last week it just stopped working. The system will try to start, it sounds like it's about to and then it just doesn't turn over. The system automatically (or is set to) try it three times. All three times the same problem occurs.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

I found this to be a battery problem in the key. Had a new battery fitted and problem fixed. The immobiliser works in very close proximity of the key and so it allows the car to start but there is not enough power in the battery to transmit to the receiver for the locks.
Look under the dash for a small button or toggle switch. Put the key in the ignition, turn the ignition on, and press the button or flip the switch. That will put the alarm in valet mode to get you by until you can get a replacement remote. Reverse the process after you've replaced the remote.

i hope that helps
If you look at the unit (probably installed under the dashboard, on the drivers side) You can see the wires going into the unit... Follow the wires back and you will find that 2 of them have in-line blade style fuses, it sounds like the fuse in the parking light output wire has blown. if you find the fuse is blown, replace it and the parking lights should be on again when you remote start it.
what model is the audiovox alarm system? If the alarm is not remote start ready, then you will need to install another alarm system or a stand-alone remote start system.
