Fluctuating Power Issues on my 42in. Olevia

This problem started shortly after my warrenty ran out. I have roughly two hours of viewing time before the tv shuts itself off. Once you turn it back on (upon which it sometimes emits a high pitched electrical screech), the intervals in which it functions get exponentially shorter until it is unwatchable. Letting it rest seems to temporarily fix the issue. I'm assuming it is not the inverter board because there is no "ghost" image on the screen when it does shut off.
It may be unrelated, but the sound on the televison has failed completely (not the speakers, the signal coming from the red and black wires in the back) as well. I'm not really concerned about this because i run my sound through an amp anyways and for all I know it might have failed withing the first few days. I'm not sure if this is unrelated but I've inclued it to be thorough. The power issue is my main concern.

My television will shut off automatically for no reason, and I have to turn it back on manually. Today the sound went completely off, although I have a beautiful picture. I have had this particular model replaced twice before, as well as having the mother board replaced. Thankfully I have an extended waranty .

Tone,

Your television is overheating. If it is in an entertainment center, make sure there is breathing room. As a test, run a fan behind it and leav the fan on while you watch, see if you get more than 2 hours.

Letting it sit allows it to cool down.

Craftsman lawn tractor 42in w/briggs 22hp -low power up hill and cutting

white smoke is more than likely a water issue. Oil usually has a bluish tinge to it but is some cases, it could be white. Drain the gas a fill with fresh to try and eliminate the possibility of water in the gas. Watch the oil level to see if it changes after using the mower. it may take a few times but if it is burning oil, the spark plug will look "wet" and oil soaked, with possible black soot type build up.

Look at the power supply first; look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc. Look for 5vdc, 12vdc, and 24dvc.

Now my olevia 42in power light will come on for a second then go off

Olevia sets are pron-ned for Power Supply issues and occasional main board problems. I would take to a repair facility to have it diagnosed properly.
