I went to bed and took a nap and when I woke up I was using my phone like always, so I remembered I had something to search on Google and when I tried to open Safari... It just showed the splash screen for 6-10 secs and closed, I tried to open the app several times and nothing works.
SOURCE: iPhone Using safari - unexpectedly quits
I had the same issue with Safari and iPod quitting unexpectedly back to
the Main Screen. I purchased my iPhone a week ago and started to notice
this condition after about 4 days. I thought it might be the crystal
protective film that I put on the screen. I removed it with no change.
I tried to power the iPhone off. See the link and use the "Restart" tab. http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/troubleshooting/phone/#
This seems to have resolved the issue for now? I had a particular
website that was crashing with regularity. No issue now. Same with
iPod. Could it be that simple?
Hope this helps everyone that is having this issue.
SOURCE: Safari Not Responding
Hi there.
The problem is the internet not the web browsers, and it depends what time of day your trying to connect to a certain site, this is because 99% of ISP's have taken on a fair usage policy which means at certain times of the day your connection speed is capped to the internet doesn't get clogged up.
I use a Windows PC with a 50meg connection and i experience the same problems with certain sites.
The only thing that i can suggest you do is update your java and flash (macromedia) software and see if that helps at all.
Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!
SOURCE: Safari can't open home page, which is google
Hello Please go to the safari menu - preferences - general, and enter your preferred homepage here, If this doesn't helo, please click on "reset safari" in the safari menu (it will reset all safari's settings, but will result in your safari's preferences loss). You can also try to "empty cache" from the safari menu, you won't loose anything doing that. Best regards

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
Is the safari browser still open? If yes then press the home screen button and keep holding it until you see a re-spring (you see the home screen icons again). After this turn the iPod off my holding the power button at the top until you see a slider. Slide it and wait for the device to turn off. When completely turned off restart it by pressing the power button.
Hope this solves your problem.

Put the bed next to a window so he can look outside, but make sure it's in a spot where he can also watch you from a short distance.
