Safari won't open

I went to bed and took a nap and when I woke up I was using my phone like always, so I remembered I had something to search on Google and when I tried to open Safari... It just showed the splash screen for 6-10 secs and closed, I tried to open the app several times and nothing works.

If it’s an iPhone? Do a hard re start on it!
Press both home button & turn off & on switch at the same time. Wait till the screen goes black (it is now off).
Wait for 5x mins or so, then turn it on as normal. This resets the software of the phone, but does not delete any of your data

SOURCE: iPhone Using safari - unexpectedly quits

I had the same issue with Safari and iPod quitting unexpectedly back to the Main Screen. I purchased my iPhone a week ago and started to notice this condition after about 4 days. I thought it might be the crystal protective film that I put on the screen. I removed it with no change. I tried to power the iPhone off. See the link and use the "Restart" tab. http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/troubleshooting/phone/#

This seems to have resolved the issue for now? I had a particular website that was crashing with regularity. No issue now. Same with iPod. Could it be that simple?

Hope this helps everyone that is having this issue.

SOURCE: Safari Not Responding

Hi there.
The problem is the internet not the web browsers, and it depends what time of day your trying to connect to a certain site, this is because 99% of ISP's have taken on a fair usage policy which means at certain times of the day your connection speed is capped to the internet doesn't get clogged up.
I use a Windows PC with a 50meg connection and i experience the same problems with certain sites.
The only thing that i can suggest you do is update your java and flash (macromedia) software and see if that helps at all.

Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!

SOURCE: Safari can't open home page, which is google

Hello Please go to the safari menu - preferences - general, and enter your preferred homepage here, If this doesn't helo, please click on "reset safari" in the safari menu (it will reset all safari's settings, but will result in your safari's preferences loss). You can also try to "empty cache" from the safari menu, you won't loose anything doing that. Best regards

SOURCE: Safari frozen and scrambled

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

Is the safari browser still open? If yes then press the home screen button and keep holding it until you see a re-spring (you see the home screen icons again). After this turn the iPod off my holding the power button at the top until you see a slider. Slide it and wait for the device to turn off. When completely turned off restart it by pressing the power button.

Hope this solves your problem.

Where should I put my cat's bed?

Put the bed next to a window so he can look outside, but make sure it's in a spot where he can also watch you from a short distance.

Converting an old crib to a day/toddler bed

If you're not having problems, then there's no reason to switch to the toddler bed. Once he's out of the crib, it will be much harder to get him to stay there, and that goes for naps too.

My twins were great in their cribs until they started climbing out around 16 months. Then I got these crib "tents" which go over the crib and form a large tent on top, so the toddlers can't climb out. (My kids thought they were very cool -- they are see-through).

We used these until the kids were 3 1/2 (!) and then we went straight to twin beds.

Don't convert unless you absolutely have to. If he's napping and sleeping well, don't change a thing.

Chances are your phone got too hot during the night and overcharged the Lithium Ion battery. If those batteries are exposed to too much heat then they won't have the battery life they used to have. You need to purchase a replacement battery or contact your wireless carrier to see about getting another one.

Snooze alarm

Like everyone else here I have accidentally hit the NAP button and couldn't turn it off. This morning at 2am I accidentally hit it with my husband in bed. I decided one and for all to guide this out. By flashlight and my cell phone i Googled a solution. I came across many, none of which worked. I resorted to trying methods that were posted for other models of this brand of clocks. The solution that I found that worked was to hold down the back part of the NAP button until the seat the time displayed and the nap light off. By back part of the button I mean hold down the tiny section closest to the rear of the clock. I got this solution from instructions for model RP3721A clock. It took me 17 minutes. That's just 3 minutes before the alarm would have gone off.
