Ariston Washing machine A1636 - Flashing lights

The machine will start filling with water and then start emptying, then two lights starts flashing along with the power light. The manual said its a computer error, is there anything I can do to fix this? Please advise Many thanks

    My ariston also takes in water, then just as the drum would normally rotate, it drains the water and a the easy iron light flashes, along with the power light! I love this machine because even my teenage son can use it... a minor miracle i think! If anyone can help i would be so grateful, thank you.

    Hi I have the same problem with my Ariston A1636 1600 spin washing machine. When I start the machine the rapid light and the power light comes on, flashing. There is a sound of water entering the chamber but I see no water. Please advise.

    WATER DRAINS AS IT IS FILLED, WASH CYCLE DOES NOT START, THE TIME INDICATOR STARTS FLASHING AFTER SOMETIME.

What 2 lights are flashing each light that flashes gives a differant fault code . Get back to me

    My Ariston A1636, 1600 spin washing machine is stopping half way through the cycle, full of water, and 2 lights are flashing along with the power button. They are the 'super wash' and 'rapid' buttons. Any suggestions please?

    MIne too anyone have a suggestion? It will fill and usually wash,sometimes it will drain and spin. If it does drain and spin once it fills for rinse it won't drain or spin and all the lights will flash yellow really fast. I have to shut it down. I thought it was the pump but it seems to sometimes work and sometimes it won't.

Always reset your machine ;turn your dial to the end of the cycle [ the dot] it should flash 3 times quickly, then turn off the machine and on again. then start washing again ...hopefully..worth a try.

Ariston ARF 105 H2O error!
I had this issue also and it was because I started the machine and had not turned on the water to it. However, it cleared when I unplugged the power cord, waited about ten seconds, then plugged it back in. I guess they need a "reboot" once in awhile, like a computer - at least mine did. Hope this works for you, too.

Ariston A1636 washing machine went bang!
you will probably need to look inside it underneath and under the top cover and see if there are any tell tale scorch marks.
wires can sometimes rub off their insulation and may be shorting, but untill you look there's not much we can tell you.
