I need free support to empty memory of brother HL-2140 printer

check your print jobs and be sure your printers memory is not full or has errors. reinstall drivers if not from brother website

Re boot the computer with ,( wired or wireless printer?), the printer cable in the USB port in the laptop/desktop, the windows version you have will ID the device and try to load a driver, or Go to printer in the start menu and ADD a PRINTER the software will search for the attached printer. OR use the software that came with the printer, load into the Dell and follow the instructions.

First try uninstalling the printer drivers in windows, and check for driver updates on your manufactures website. Reinstall the drivers and software and try printing again, If problem persists then you may have a hareware issue in the printer or comm problem.

printer becomes offline if it is turn off or the pc not recognized the printer.

solution: check the cable printer, transfer cable printer port to another port in your computer, if the problem still occurs re-install the printer driver.

Most of the time the printer refuse to print if the print memory is full, if this is the case then, press the Go button to print the remaining data in the printer memory. Cancel the print job if you want to delete the remaining data in the printer memory.

Set your new HL-2140 as the default printer. Go to Control Panel, Click Printers and Scanners tab, and set your Brother HL-2140 as your default printer. You may have other printer as the default printer currently. Check your connections again. Connect it to another USB port as the current port might not be responding due to connection contact problem.

when the toner light is on this means the toner cartridge is empty and ned to be replaced. After its replaced it will start working normally again.

this means that the toner cartridge is empty and wont print until you replace it.

1) If the LARGE BLUE BUTTON is blinking:
Data remaining in memory
There is remaining print data in the printer memory. If the Ready LED is blinking for
a long time and nothing has printed, press the Go button to print the remaining data
in the memory.
2) If the TONER LED is blinking:
Toner low
Indicates that the toner cartridge is nearly empty. Buy a new toner cartridge and have
it ready for when Toner life end is indicated.
The Toner LED will turn on for 2 seconds and off for 3 seconds.
3) If the DRUM LED is blinking:
Drum life end soon
The drum unit is near the end of its life. We recommend that you get a new drum unit
to replace the current one. See Replacing the drum unit on page 69.
The Drum LED will turn on for 2 seconds and off for 3 seconds.
4) If the RED ERROR LED is blinking:
Front cover is open
Close the front cover of the printer.
Fuser cover is open
Close the fuser cover located behind the back cover of the printer.
Paper jam
Clear the paper jam. See Paper jams and how to clear them on page 85. If the printer
does not start printing, press the Go button.
Memory full
The printer memory is full and the printer cannot print full pages of a document.
Print overrun
A print overrun occurred and the printer cannot print full pages of a document.
