Asus n73j webcam not working

What you want to do is
1. Click Start
2. Click Devices and Printers
3. Top left of the window Click Add a printer
4. Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer
5. Printer Name: should be n73j Series or Epson and Address: http://0.0.0.0:80
6. highlight your printer Click next and printer should be automatically installed
7. Done

Try reinstalling the WEBcam driver.

In what? the Asus supplied software? I don't know what software Asus has , maybe CyberLink? Look in All Programs, open software, does it see the webcam, in settings? You can open Device Manager, Imaging Devices, Is it listed? enabled? Webcam drivers can be found here:http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Multimedia_Entertainment/N73Jq/#download

i got the same problem with my new UX32VD.
the camera worked properly for the first week but after that suddenly it's stop working.
any solution?

Shutdown the computer and disconnect webcam. Restart computer then after full boot, attach webcam and test to see if webcam works. If this does not solve the problem restart the computer with webcam attached. If this does not solve the problem then the webcam may be broken. If this is an internal webcam I recommend contacting the manufacturer.

do an update on drivers through the asus website or the brand of webcam/touch pad

If your webcam image rotated, install the driver.

Some times BIOS disable webcam after updating it.

To enable it do the followings:

1. Restart your Eee PC.
2. Press F2 while booting (to enter BIOS sittings)
3. Go to "advanced" tab (by pressing right arrow)
4. Select "Onboard Device Configuration" (by pressing down arrow)
5. From there you can find if "Onboard Camera" is enabled or not.
6. If not, just press enter to pick "Enabled"
