i think your talking about the rubber door seal????
you can change this yourself,,,under the seal on the case is a wire spring unhook it and the door seal will fold inside the washer,,,on the inner drum you will find the other wire spring undo this as well and pull the old door seal out through the hole in the door,,,the new seal is fitted to the iner drun first so you need to turn the new seal inside out to fit it,,,push the seal into the washer and fit the inner wire first then unfold the seal and fit it over the outer door so you can fit the wire spring,,,
easy after you have fitted a fuw 100?
Door on is the preferred method for me. Once you take it off and place it on the floor you can break the handle. (must remove the handle if you remove the door or place it on blocks of wood. (IF you remove it)
It is a matter of loosening the screws removing the old door seal and fitting the new door seal in place.
(Tighten the seal mounting / hold down screws when your done fitting the new seal.)
Yes it can be put back on without taking the drum apart. The larger end goes on the drum side. Fit larger end around drum lip make sure it seals all the way around, install spring around seal. Smaller end goes around door opening. Install seal around outter lip and install spring around seal.
easy fix love what you need to do is un-plug the washer now tak the 2screws from the back of the washer that holds the top(lid) in place now open the door and around the edge of the door seal there will be a spring wire pull this out so you can unattach the door seal totally from the washer front the seal will still be attached to the inner drum though now stand up and look down through the top of the washer down to the front were your door seal is still attached to the washer there will be another clamp with a screw on it undue the screw but you dont have to undue it totally though pull the clamp out through the front through the door seal now will come off the washer now just do these instructions backwards to re-fit the new door seal let me know how you go on or if you get into trouble doing the job peter
i am recently retired appliance engineer of 20 years, the rear door seal clamp is generally nowadays a large thin spring that is slightly hidden by the concrete weights at the front of the drum, if thats the case the door seal will just come off with a good firm pull round the drum edge, fitting as a reverse of removal, place the door seal in the groove so it fits like it should, then stretch the spring and fit that into the outer groove round the lip of the door seal at the drum end, once that is done fit the seal on the front panel lip, then replace that clamp, check all is fitted securely before running machine
its one of those jobs that hard to explain how to do it, hope i have helped a bit, its easier to work through the front door opening than from above?
if i have please rate me
thank you
unplug machine. Pull off retainer clip from the front , with both hands inside push up the seal untill its free. Then with the new seal apply washing up liquid to the gap on the seal.
And fit this is fiddly. Then pull the spring you removed to loosen abit and with a screw driver to keep it in place throught the door lock thats why youve unpluged it. strech the spring around. the ease on the front part of the seal and replace the clip. put on a wool wash to check for leaks.

plenty of washing up liquid and soak it in hot water for 2 mins.
use both hands and snap on the gasket.
pull the spring to make it slightly biger .
unplug machine
place screw driver through the hole in the lock
to keep spring inplace and feed spring around.
then place the front of the seal back on and push the clip back and tighten it with pliar hands.

after putting the seal on with the aid of washing up liquid put the spring on first by the door catch hold it on with one hand and isnert a screwdriver in the hole for the door catch this will enable you to hold the spring on if you put your knee against the screwdriver giving you two hands free to push the spring on
