Press # in a text entry screen to select an
entry mode
1 Your Primary text entry mode can be set to any iTAP® mode or tap mode(indicated by 1).
2 Your Secondary text entry mode can be set to None, or set to an iTAP
mode or tapmode (indicated by 2).
123 Numeric mode enters numbers only.
@ Symbol mode enters symbols only

How to get browser setup properly

When typing a message, hit the top middle button and i would pop up a menu. change the dictionay from english t9 to normal.

go to sattings then find language click on it predictive text off

try pressing either * or # it might toggle it off,otherwise when in messages go into your settings and turn off your dictionary,idealy learn to use predictive text...lol

go into a text message and push the button right above the green send button and choose alpha....problem solved

do to settings> messages> input> and select alpha numeric

try holding either the *key or the #key until the t9 goes away,

go to your messages... then choose message setting... look for default text input and just choose iTap (i think???) just play around with your message setting...

it might just be on predictive text- (if it is) text slower
