Nearly every appliance store and appliance repair shop sells replacement belts. Your area Sears / kMart retail store will have them, too. Many hardware stores sell them as well.
if you don't mind waiting, you can find them online, too. Here's a list of places that Google found for Maytag Belts. You should use a combination of Maytag dryer model number and the number that appears on the belt to obtain a replacement.

Hi,
That is not that hard to fix and you can easily buy the parts yourself
online...
Here is a tip that will help you with the online buying...
The notes for part #24 give you the other parts and help that you will need to stop the squeek. The drum rollers or the front bearing is the problem.
While you have it apart repalce it all.
I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!
Note: Normal drying time for a dryer is about 45 minutes (some may take up to an hour).
1. Venting Make sure the dryer vent hose, as well as the rest of the vent duct, is not clogged.
Unless regular maintenance is performed, chances are there is a lot of lint accumulated inside the dryer. This might affect the drying time and could be a fire hazard. Make sure to have your dryer cleaned regularly. Because this might involve taking most of the dryer apart, it is recommended to have a qualified appliance repairman perform this task.
2. Thermostat There are a couple of cycling thermostats inside the dryer. If one of them breaks down, it might affect the dryer's performance. Replace the defective thermostat.
I have the same problem--it is the heating element. Bad news is they don't make the part anymore. The solution from maytag.com is to buy a new one and they will reimburse you 15%...not a very good solution considering how much this one cost and the amount of years it has been used. If you find a place that sells the heating element please post!
