Several issues here so to begin with remove power from the set and a box of any kind if used for several minutes and then power back to see if a reboot helps or not.
Depending on how big your speakers are and how they were to the TV....that might be the reason. Magnets are the worst thing you can have next to electronics. It either that, or you bought a lemon, or you have a kid in the house and they put magnets on the tv for fun.
to remove base from insignia tv
1)remove plastic cover from bottom rear of tv
2)remove 8 philips head screws on rear of tv above base
3)pick up tv and base will come off
