Any part in your set can be replaced. It is a question of cost, and the qualifications of the service person. For this set it is important that only the manufacture service rep work on it. There are specialized tools, training, and setups for performing service on this type of set.
A poping sound is caused by a component actualy rapidly blowing! This should be looked after. Using the set can only create more problems. Components rapidly blow because of a catastrophic short or over-voltage condition of some type.
The manufacture service rep can do a visual inspection of all the circuit boards, and replace the board with the one that shows signs of physical damage. He will then run diagnostics, and perform the proper troubleshooting to find the cause of the problem and replace any other defective parts or circuit boards.
The repairs on these TV sets can be rather expensive. Ask for an estimate before approving any work done. When buying any of these TV sets it is best to take an extended warranty. This is an insurance in case of an expensive failure.
From your description, I would suspect a section of a power supply has failed, and possibly a failure in one of the main driver circuits. This type of repair will not normaly be low in cost.

You can also try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works..

if you have cable tv try unplugging and plugging in that cable if that doesnt work you might have a bad cable. check for damage along the cord or bends in the metal ends sometimes that can also be the problem
