I need the dezoning code for a Sony DVP-SR510H DVD player.

I have DVDs from the US and France and want to be able to play both on my Sony DVP-SR510H DVD player. What is the dezoning procedure?

hi there might be...first go to my computer, then locate the dvd drive, right click that and then properties, then click the hardware tab at top then in the list locate dvd drive then at bottom right click on properties then click dvd region and then you should be able to change it....hope that helped

I purchase sony cd/dvd player DVP-SR510H at walmart today -- the music CD loads -- but there is no sound. DVDs work fine.

is this happening to all cds or just that one.
because if the sound is working on the dvd then you should have sound from the cd.
have you checked the manual to make sure it is all setup ok.

The SONY DVP FX720 is region free. SONY is notorious for putting out DVD players that will not play all types of DVDs.

You can't dezone it.

This is why they put zones in the units. Blame the record and movie companies.

99% of dvd players cannot be dezoned. Do a search on the net for a dvd player that can be dezoned and go buy it.
