Check these codes. These are codes by AT8550 universal remote control with Sansui TV. If you want more details and codes, check this. It is very difficult to get a universal remote control which has setup codes with Sansui TVs.

Set up by Automatic Search
1. Turn TV on
2. Point the remote at tv and Hold SET and TV buttons at the same time and keep pressed for 3 seconds.
3. The LED flashes and the remote control starts the automatic search.
4.The OFF signal is automatically sent to the tv from the remote control.
5. Once the TV switches off press any button except SET to stop auto search.
6. Switch your tv on using the POWER button.

Have a solution for you.Turn your TV on then Press and hold 'P' on remote until light stays on. Press device to be controlled (TV/Cable) light will flicker but stay on. Now keep pressing channel up (up to 300 times) until device changes channel. Then press Enter to save code. Hope this helps
